About the Role:Kids Place LLC in Fishkill, NY is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join their dedicated early childhood team! Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddler-aged children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily updates
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Maintain accurate developmental records, attendance, and documentation
- Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards
Requirements:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting, preferably with toddlers
- Knowledge of NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulations
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and support a team-oriented environment
- Genuine passion for early childhood development and education
