Test Manager
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
12+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing, with 4+ years in a Test Management or QA Leadership role.
Strong knowledge of test management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, QTest or TestRail).
Solid understanding of automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured, or similar).
Experience with API, Functional, Regression, Performance, and UAT testing strategies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and Test data management.
Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and automation testers across multiple workstreams.
Define and implement the overall test strategy, test plans, and quality metrics for projects and releases.
Partner with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing scope with project timelines and requirements.
Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management for functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Establish and monitor quality KPIs, providing regular status reports and risk assessments to leadership.
Ensure test environments, test data, and tools are properly managed and available for the team.
Manage resource planning, budgeting, and vendor/offshore team coordination as needed.
Champion best practices in test governance, compliance, and process standardization across the QA organization.
Facilitate defect triage meetings and drive root-cause analysis for critical production issues.
