This team member directs the technical aspects of day to day operations at the plant level facilities. The Lead Technician serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. Responsibilities:
- Direct and follow-up on tasks performed by other team technicians across multiple shifts.
- Collect operational data, including water chemistry measurements (TSS, pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.).
- Take Airflow Measurements
- Monitor and adjust equipment setpoints.
- Inspect and replace chemical or paint totes as needed.
- Enter data into databases and tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain plant data boards, including troubleshooting issues and creating/tracking countermeasures.
- Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complete assignments while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain clear and positive communication with team members. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and writing communication abilities.
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Accept work assignments that may require additional training (training will be provided as needed).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial setting
- Mechanically inclined with experience in technical or industrial work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to climb ladders and work around industrial equipment.
- Must be comfortable working in a large industrial paint facility that requires frequent walking, standing, and exposure to varied environments (clean and dirty areas).
