Lead Technician - Enterprise Security

Location: Tampa, FL

Compensation: $30-35/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours

Overview

This role involves traveling to new and existing customer sites to install, program, and troubleshoot enterprise-level security and access systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision
  • Work with systems including access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management
  • Troubleshoot and program networked IP video systems
  • Troubleshoot and program networked access control systems
  • Service commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT-connected systems
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in all client interactions

Required Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting and programming networked access control and IP video systems, including work on customer networks
  • Experience programming Lenel, ProWatch, and Genetec systems
  • Minimum 4 years of experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion alarm systems

Preferred Qualifications ("Nice to Haves")

  • Previous employment with companies such as Convergent or SecureTop
  • Certifications in Lenel and Genetec
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Mercury board-based systems
  • Experience setting up Mercury board controllers
  • Hands-on programming experience with Lenel, ProWatch, and Genetec
