Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day is a child care organization that has spent decades treating educators as professionals and children as full people. We are not a national chain. We are a community of educators committed to anti-bias practice, dignity, and the kind of relationships with children and families that take time to build.
Our Mission: To cultivate curiosity, resilience, and social responsibility in children by fostering high-quality, nurturing, and inclusive educational communities led by skilled professionals.
Why Work for Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day?
Play isn’t just fun, it’s fundamental. Children learn about the world by exploring ideas, manipulating objects, investigating creative materials, and problem-solving with others. Wonders teachers use observation and planning to create learning experiences that are intentional and provide meaningful context for children to practice skills and express ideas. Join the Wonders family of caring, dedicated, and fun educators.
As a Lead Teacher in Infant and Toddler, you are the developmental anchor of the classroom. You review and refine each child's care plan drafted by their Teacher. You coach Teachers in observation, planning, and family communication. You lead family conferences and the most sensitive conversations. This is a job for someone who finds the rhythms of infant and toddler care deeply interesting: the way attachment builds, the way language emerges, the way a child becomes themselves in the first two years.
Compensation at Wonders is more than a paycheck. We pay competitively within the region's early care and education sector. Total compensation includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, professional learning support, and a culture that takes educator growth seriously.
