Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher/Assistant Director of KiddyCity Daycare LLC to join our team! As team member of our center, you will be responsible for selecting  and overseeing an age-appropriate programs, activities, and Lesson plan for the children in care. This candidate will be responsible for her classroom, lesson planning, will also conduct Bi-annual children assessments, serving meals, implementing class activities and supervising all children. You will also communicate with our Center Director and Administrator on children’s progress, behaviors, educational progress and their development. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development and education, and experience in managing a classroom environment.  

Responsibilities 
  • Integrate accredited curriculum  
  • Ensure that we are always in compliance with company and state regulations, as well as; with the Department of Education
  •  Communicate any issues, including interpersonal conflicts that may arise
  • Work effectively and implement daily  lesson plans, printed materials, bulletin announcements, and newsletters and maintain a great classroom environment 
Qualifications
  • Experienced Program Leader
  • Past experience working with children
  • 6 months -  12 months experience 
  • High School Diploma Required 
  • CDA Preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience managing a class
  • Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education
