    Position at Beck's Montessori Accelerated Learning Center

    Becks Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is a Montessori school seeking Lead Teachers!
    Age group: Toddlers

     To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require previous lead teacher experience in a licensed classroom setting, ECE Lead qualified through MN state standards (CDA or higher education in early childhood). Montessori experience preferred.

    Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

    Compensation: $18-20/hr.  based on education and experience

    Main Job Responsibilities:  

    • Responsible for the safety and well-being of students all times.   
    • Carries the primary responsibility for the development and implementation of the educational environment and curriculum consistent with American Montessori Society standards and center policies and procedures.  
    • Manages the learning experiences for students to ensure the needs of the group and individual students are met.  
    • Develops positive relationships with children and families encouraging bonding to the class and the larger school community, communicates child’s development based on the individualized tracking of student progress and when necessary, communicate developmental needs to parents which may include strategies, intervention, or support from outside specialists. Maintains regular verbal and written communication with parents.  
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
