About the Role:VITA AEREA PREMIUM AVIATION SERVICES LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Lead Supervisor Mechanic to join our team in Mesa, AZ. Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of aviation mechanics, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to FAA standards
- Perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues across a variety of aircraft
- Ensure all maintenance documentation, logbooks, and work orders are accurately completed and compliant
- Coordinate with operations and management to prioritize workflow and minimize aircraft downtime
- Mentor and develop junior mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence
- Enforce adherence to company policies, FAA regulations, and manufacturer maintenance manuals
Requirements:- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
- Minimum 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 43 and Part 145
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred but not required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call as needed
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
