Job Description

Lead Superintendent - Top ENR General Contractor - Charlotte will be responsible for:

• Lead all field operations for ground-up multifamily apartment developments from sitework through project completion.
• Manage project schedules, site logistics, safety initiatives, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and daily construction activities.
• Serve as the primary on-site construction leader responsible for delivering projects on time and within company standards.
• Partner closely with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee luxury Class A multifamily developments ranging from approximately 50 to 200 units.
• Coordinate all phases of wood-frame multifamily construction, including sitework, vertical construction, punch lists, and turnover.
• Maintain strong communication with ownership, subcontractors, inspectors, and project teams.
• Support the company's growing Carolinas expansion by transitioning between projects as new developments break ground.

The Successful Applicant

Lead Superintendent - Top ENR General Contractor - Charlotte should have:

• Proven experience serving as the lead Superintendent on ground-up multifamily apartment projects.
• Track record of successfully delivering multifamily developments valued between $10M and $40M.
• Experience managing large-scale apartment communities from site development through completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct field teams and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated success managing schedules, safety programs, quality standards, and project execution.
• Stable employment history with strong tenure, preferably three or more years with recent employers.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina as project needs require.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working on Class A multifamily developments is highly preferred.
