Job Description

• Lead all field operations for a landmark military housing development located at Naval Station Norfolk.
• Oversee construction of approximately 2,000 residential units across five to six eight-story concrete residential buildings.
• Manage the construction of a large precast parking garage and approximately 21 acres of sitework.
• Direct and mentor a large field team while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
• The Lead Superintendent will drive project schedules, production goals, quality control initiatives, and safety performance.
• Coordinate multiple phases of construction and manage complex logistics across several active work areas.
• Utilize advanced planning and scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, to maintain project milestones and production targets.
• The Lead Superintendent will work closely with project leadership to proactively identify risks and implement solutions.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and client satisfaction throughout the life of the project.
• The Lead Superintendent will play a critical role in the successful delivery of one of the largest multifamily construction projects in Virginia.

The Successful Applicant

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on large-scale multifamily construction projects.
• Proven success managing major residential developments, military housing projects, or concrete high-rise construction.
• Experience leading large field organizations, including 20+ field personnel and multiple trade partners.
• Strong scheduling expertise with Primavera P6 experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production, logistics, quality, and safety on complex projects.
• Stable work history with a record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Open to relocating to the Hampton Roads/Norfolk market if needed.
