Job Details

We are seeking a Permanent Lead Superintendent for our Multifamily division in the Construction industry. This role is critical to the successful completion of our projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times. You will be responsible for overseeing all onsite operations from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards, and managing potential risks. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various teams including design, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction to project completion.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage potential risks, including safety, quality, and budgetary risks.
  • Coordinate with various teams including design, engineering, and subcontractors to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as planned and that all safety and quality standards are being met.
  • Resolve any onsite issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including progress reports and forecasts.
  • Implement and maintain safety and quality control programs.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and kept up to date.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully completed projects, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Experience with safety management, risk management, and quality control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate diverse teams.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and disputes in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in relevant software, including project management software and MS Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in safety management, risk management, or quality control are a plus.
