Lead Structural Engineer/Food & Beverage

Join our dedicated team in pioneering structural engineering solutions within the Food and Beverage industry. In this pivotal role, you will lead projects from conceptual stages to full execution, ensuring designs are both innovative and cost-effective. Engage with diverse teams including operations, architecture, and various engineering disciplines to align project objectives and schedules. You'll oversee comprehensive structural design services across the project lifecycle, managing team efforts and ensuring project compliance.

Embedded within our Structural Engineering Department, you will serve exclusively the Food and Beverage sector, harnessing your expertise to address emergency conditions, generate construction documents, and evolve drafting standards. Your collaboration with Preconstruction will drive our design-build initiatives, supporting project proposals and client interactions.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts, promoting practical and budget-conscious design solutions, while mentoring junior engineers. Your role ensures continuous improvement of design workflows, contributing to the technical evolution within your field.

**Key Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based workflows
- Experience with industrial project coordination
- Familiarity with construction documentation and codes
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

- Predominantly office-based with occasional site visits
- Flexibility in working hours and readiness for short travels

**Educational & Experience Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 5+ years in structural engineering, ideally within food and beverage or industrial environments
- Knowledge of Design-Build methodologies

**Technical Skills:**
- AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and RamSteel proficiency
- Experience with CSI specifications and SpecLink

**Licenses:**
- S.E. / P.E. licensure in Georgia, with the ability to extend to other states
