We are in search of a Lead Steward. A Steward or Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant customer interaction. The lead steward will also be responsible for additional tasks such as communicating with the steward team in the absence of the executive steward.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.50/hr

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
• Ability to twist, bend, squat and kneel.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• English speaking required.
• Bilingual in Spanish speaking preferred.
