POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Lead Software Engineer (LMES) CAM, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead a software development team supporting high-assurance encryption products and national defense programs.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into working, maintainable software solutions.
- Plan development activities, define and assign tasks, monitor team performance, and track project status.
- Measure team work performed utilizing EVMS techniques.
- Develop software using modern C++ tools and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to software engineers working on embedded applications.
- Apply object-oriented design and implementation principles and software modeling techniques.
- Investigate complex software issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and other engineering disciplines to develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and formal testing.
- Develop software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS

Lead Software Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Lead Software Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of embedded software experience.
- 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware preferred.
- Strong experience developing software using modern C++.
- Experience with RTOS platforms such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar.
- Experience leading software teams or projects.
- Strong project planning, task assignment, and performance monitoring skills.
- Experience with EVMS is preferred.
- Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems is a plus.
- Experience with information assurance, cryptography, or software certification such as DO-178 is a plus.
- Prior RUST experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work 100% onsite in Camden, New Jersey.
