Lead Software Engineer (GenAI & Microservices)

Requirements: We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java microservices and Generative AI technologies to support a new strategic initiative at Wells Fargo. This role will lead the design, development, and adoption of GenAI-powered engineering solutions while partnering closely with business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• This role will lead the design, development, and adoption of GenAI-powered engineering solutions while partnering closely with business and technology teams.
• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered solutions
• Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices
• Integrate AI tools into enterprise SDLC and CI/CD workflows
• Drive GenAI adoption, onboarding, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

 
Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java microservices and Generative AI technologies to support a new strategic initiative at Wells Fargo.
• 16+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices
• Full-stack development experience using Java, React/Angular, TypeScript, and Python
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platform experience (OCP, GCP, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including:
• Devin
• Claude (Anthropic)
• Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Knowledge of:
• Prompt engineering
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Agent-based and multi-agent architectures
• MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Autonomous AI workflows and orchestration
• Top Skills
