Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Leidos is pursuing the A1 Multi-Cloud Ecosystem (A1 MCE) Managed Services Support contract and currently has an opening for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer providing technical oversight for the reliability, availability, performance, and operational resilience within a multi-cloud environment. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help modernize a leading, global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reliability engineering support across multi-cloud environment, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of mission-critical services.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to reduce manual operations, standardize deployments, and enable automated remediation.
• Establish enterprise observability and performance management, including monitoring, logging, tracing, SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and capacity planning.
• Lead incident response and continuous improvement, including complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Integrate SRE practices with DevSecOps and cybersecurity, embedding reliability, security, automated testing, and operational readiness into CI/CD pipelines and cloud modernization activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors and at least 12 years or more of experience; Masters at least 10 years or more of experience.
• Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes architecture
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks and container security best practices
• Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization and platform reliability engineering skills
• US citizenship required
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT Level 2)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture

Pay Range:

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
