Lead Setup Machinist - Nights
Location: Broken Arrow, OK Area
Shift: Night Shift
Pay: $28/hr+ Depending on Experience
HireCall is seeking an experienced Night Shift Lead Setup Machinist who is confident working with both CNC lathes and mills. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can take ownership of the shift, make sound decisions, troubleshoot machining issues, and keep production moving with limited supervision.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
- Make offsets and program edits using Fanuc controls
- Troubleshoot tooling, setups, and machining issues
- Read blueprints and verify parts meet print requirements
- Assist operators with setups, tooling, and process issues
- Delegate work and help keep machines and operators productive
- Make production decisions with limited management support
- Communicate shift status, issues, and priorities to day-shift leadership
- Jump between machines and assist wherever needed to keep production on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Strong CNC machining and setup experience
- Experience with both CNC lathes and mills
- Comfortable making program edits at Fanuc controls
- Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling, setup, and dimensional issues
- Previous lead or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to delegate work and keep a team productive
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to make sound decisions with limited supervision
