    Description

    • Aid Supervision in daily activities to ensure productivity of the operations.
    • Responsible for monitoring of the set-up personnnel including oversight of work performed.
    • Working with Supervisors, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering personnel on troubleshooting issues.
    • Function in a leadership capacity to teach and train set-up personnel within the department.
    • Work on continuous training of set-ups in molding depertment. Increase knowledge and grow capabilities
    • Oversee and assist in completing normal daily set-up requirements
    • Interface with all set-up personnel across multiple shifts to ensure accurate and efficient set-up activities
    • Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to diagnose and assist as required
    • Work with MFG Engineering, Tooling, Quality and Manufacturing personnel, in all areas of set-up processes
    • Assist in establishing and documentation of accurate set-up information for all molds
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of injection molding set-up processes
    • Report any personnel related matters to the Manager
    • Advise Manager as to strengths and weaknessses of set-up personnel as well as improvement objectives
    • Notify appropriate personnel of maintenance needs to equipment as necessary through work order system.
    • Review mold damage reports and ensure adequate detail and root cause analysis is performed.
    • Work to acquire knowledge of new molds and set-up requirements to ensure accurate instruction of set-up personnel.
    • Complete and maintain all required paperwork.
    • Ability to use and understand Mack Molding's ISO policies and procedures.
    • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
    • Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
    • Perform other duties necessitated by change or condition

    Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience

    . High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    . Basic verbal, written and math skills.

    . Must maintain a Mack-Issued Forklift License.

    . Must have consistently demonstrated above average processing skills.

    . Lockout/Tagout training

    . Fall protection training

    Unusual Working Conditions .

    Exposure to temperatures of between 50F to 110F

    Unusual Physical Requirements . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required [when necessary] . Ability to bend, walk, climb and stand for prolonged periods of time. . Ability to work a schedule to review all shifts with mold set ups.
