Overview:

Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in Lancaster County, operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township.  We produce plastic components for car batteries and have a stable and growing customer base. As an essential business we continue to thrive during this economic downturn, and we are expanding our teams. 

 

This person supervises the daily set up activities of all set up personnel  within the plant and ensures that they are performing their job duties.

 

This is a 2nd Shift position (3pm - 11pm/Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:
  • Review and submit downtime reports
  • Schedule set-up daily activities
    • Room Assignments
    • Arrange coverage as required
    • Prioritize Changes
    • Daily projects – Quality, productivity improvements, Check sheets, OPM
    • Projects
  • Post and award Overtime based on guidelines and revolving seniority list
  • Maintain weekend coverage
  • Review vacation requests and approve / deny based on guidelines
  • Support / Insure compliance to Safety & Quality requests
  • Manage the floor – Stay visible. Employees needing help get it . Work is being accomplished efficiently

  • Insure we are performing job duties as specified in plant guidelines, policies, procedures, and
  • ISO documentation
  • Training
    • Insure timely and accurate fulfillment of requirements
    • Monitor program to insure timely feedback to set-up mechanics on performance / progress
    • Participate in development, maintenance, and certification of set-up levels.
  • Monitor process times to insure we are meeting standards. Help to improve current standards
Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Certifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent perferred

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Good communication skills,
  • Prior supervising experience preferred

Design Skills, if applicable:

  • NA
