Lead Service Technician

Location: North Jersey
Territory: New Jersey, New York City, and the Five Boroughs
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)

A growing enterprise security systems integrator is expanding its team with an experienced Lead Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair integrated security systems for enterprise-level customers throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical skills, independent problem-solving, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and maintain access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians in the field.
• Review service tickets and prepare necessary tools, equipment, and materials for daily assignments.
• Communicate service updates, project status, and issues to management.
• Provide professional customer support in enterprise environments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system outages.

Requirements

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting electronic security systems.
• Working knowledge of:
• Access Control
• CCTV / Video Surveillance
• Intrusion Detection
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a service environment.
• Professional customer-facing communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred

• Lead technician or mentoring experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with healthcare, municipal, industrial, warehouse, distribution, or data center environments.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus but not required.
