Job Description:
Are you a hospitality-driven professional who leads by example? As a Lead Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while supporting and guiding a team dedicated to service excellence. In this role, you will combine hands-on service with leadership support to ensure every resident and guest enjoys a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience.
Location: Valencia Terrace
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat 3:30p-7:30p
Pay Range: $19-$19.30/hr
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional dining service to residents and guests with professionalism and warmth
- Support daily dining room operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Lead by example, promoting a hospitality-focused culture across all dining venues
- Serve as a liaison between residents, guests, and kitchen staff to ensure clear communication
- Support and mentor team members to maintain high service standards
- Assist with training and development of dining staff
- Help coordinate schedules and support staffing needs as directed
- Learn resident preferences to deliver personalized and thoughtful service
- Monitor resident well-being and report any concerns to appropriate team members
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dining areas
- Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and overall dining experience
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3–5 years of dining or hospitality experience
- Previous leadership or lead experience preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example and support team development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s Certification required (per state guidelines)
