Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with project management teams.
  • Direct and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget expectations.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and communicate project updates to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and schedule challenges proactively.
  • Implement and enforce site-specific safety plans and company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors throughout project execution.
  • Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff.
  • Manage site logistics, sequencing, and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate inspections, punch list completion, and final turnover activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
  • Proven success managing projects valued at $50M+ preferred.
  • Experience leading large-scale ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and scheduling practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
