Operating out of a dedicated warehouse and sample studio, you will fabricate, assemble, shape, and finish custom product samples and architectural prototypes for the company's composites division. Description for Lead Sample Fabricator:
- Fabricate, shape, assemble, and finish architectural product samples and custom prototypes for client presentations and sales teams.
- Measure, cut, bevel, rout, and assemble composite materials and specialty panel products to exact drawing specifications.
- Safely operate woodworking machinery, table saws, routers, miter saws, pneumatic nailers, sanders, and hand/power tools.
- Execute high-detail edge finishing, sanding, and surface preparation with a sharp focus on aesthetic quality and presentation standards.
- Perform final quality inspections on all sample pieces to ensure strict dimensional accuracy and zero defects.
- Coordinate directly with customer service and sales teams regarding sample request priorities, material needs, and production timelines.
- Manage raw material stock, maintain a spotless and organized sample studio, and adhere strictly to all shop safety protocols.

- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 / hour (Scaling based on woodworking depth, fabrication skill, and experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Consistent daytime routine with weekends OFF!).
- Location: Hoquiam, WA facility.
- Work Environment: Dedicated sample studio and prototype shop requiring high autonomy, quiet focus, and professional accountability.

Requirements for Lead Sample Fabricator:
- Prior hands-on experience in fine woodworking, finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, model making, or custom architectural fabrication preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency safely operating woodworking machinery, stationary saws, routers, and power hand tools.
- Precision measuring and cutting skills; proven ability to read and execute work directly from blueprints, drawings, and dimension sheets.
- Self-starter mindset—comfortable managing daily project flow independently with minimal direct oversight.
- Physical capability to safely handle, lift, and maneuver composite panel materials and finished assemblies (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with composite panels, engineered wood, or resin-based materials is a strong PLUS.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and professional pride in craftsmanship.
