Description

Kforce's client, a well-established and growing technology company located in Andover, MA, is seeking a hands-on Lead RF Design Engineer to provide technical leadership while remaining deeply engaged in the hands-on design, development, testing, and production of complex RF systems. Summary: This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on RF engineering with technical leadership. You will have significant ownership of challenging RF designs, work across the full product development lifecycle, and play a key role in developing a talented RF engineering team within a growing technology organization. The ideal candidate is a technically strong, hands-on RF engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, driving designs to production, and helping develop the capabilities of other engineers. Responsibilities:
  • Take technical ownership of complex RF designs throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through detailed design, development, verification, and production
  • Design and develop RF circuits, modules, and subsystems for advanced communications applications
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to a small team of RF engineers, including mentoring, technical guidance, and skill development
  • Lead the resolution of complex technical issues related to RF design, product integration, manufacturing, and test
  • Develop and execute RF test and troubleshooting strategies for RF/microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transition of new RF designs from development into production and manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in RF engineering and high-reliability product development
  • Extensive hands-on experience in RF/microwave circuit design
  • Experience taking new RF designs through design, verification, manufacturing, and production
  • Knowledge of RF simulation and design tools such as Microwave Office, Keysight PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS), Ansys HFSS, or Cadence AWR Design Environment
  • Strong understanding of RF theory
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide technical leadership within an integrated product development environment
  • Ability and willingness to remain hands-on technically while providing leadership and mentorship to other engineers

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
