Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services. ResponsibilitiesProvides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff. Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff. Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients. Performs facility-specific specialty procedures as required. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. QualificationsJob Requirements: Associates Degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise.One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting.Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification. Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty.Three (3) years of related experience.AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification
