Specific Responsibilities: Explore technology and market opportunities for the next 3-10 years. Proficient in technical pitches to attain buy-in from both internal and external customers. Manage and lead cross-functional teams for new technology development. Pioneer architectures, circuits, algorithms, and systems that are ahead of academic research and may ramp to production within a few years. Focus area include energy-efficient RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits for wireless and wireline communication systems as well as for novel computing systems. Set and maintain detailed technical specifications and schedules. Hands-on research and development from feasibility to implementation of new fundamental IPs and sub-systems, test strategies, test setup, package-level integration, PCB design, and characterizations.
