AS THE LEAD REGISTRATION CLERK, you'll be responsible to assist in administrative duties such as payroll, filing, ordering supplies, regulatory chart audits, etc. They will also act as the Registration Clerk, under the directions and supervision of the Emergency Department Director and be responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties, stocking of unit supplies, and preparing triage rooms. Registration Clerk may be directed by Registered Nurse to assist patients with basic activities of daily living, such as ambulation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in registration/ED Clerk
- Must have current CPR certification or must obtain within 6 months of start in position
- Must have Comprehensive CRISIS management training must be obtained within 12 months of start in position
- Must have typing and computer skills
- Completion of Medical Terminology Training, preferred
