Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead React JS Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, frontend architecture, state management, API integration, and modern UI development.
The candidate will provide technical leadership to frontend developers, establish coding standards and best practices, participate in architecture decisions, conduct code reviews, and work closely with Product, UX/UI, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable and high-performance web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and modular React components.
- Define and drive frontend architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
- Develop responsive and cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
- Manage complex application state using Redux / Redux Toolkit, Context API, Zustand, or similar technologies.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend services.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma/wireframes into high-quality applications.
- Conduct technical design discussions and contribute to overall application architecture.
- Perform detailed code reviews and ensure coding standards, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend developers.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues and production defects.
- Optimize application performance including rendering, bundle size, lazy loading, caching, and code splitting.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Work closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless frontend/backend integration.
- Stay current with modern React ecosystem trends and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
