    Lead Manufacturing Quality Inspector

    Hourly 26-32/hr
    Are you a hands-on quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading a team? We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Quality Inspector to oversee daily inspection activities, support production quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a collaborative manufacturing setting.
    In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring products meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements while helping foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
    What You’ll Do:
    Lead and coordinate daily activities of quality inspection personnel
    Perform and verify incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products
    Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
    Ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
    Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials or processes
    Train and mentor quality inspectors on inspection methods, procedures, and measuring equipment
    Partner with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality concerns
    Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
    Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection and measurement equipment
    What We’re Looking For:
    3–5+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience
    Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred
    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
    Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment preferred
    Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards is a plus
    Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
    Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes
    Bonus Experience:
    • Knowledge of calibration audits and compliance requirements
    • Experience with advanced inspection tools including Faro arm, optical comparator, visual systems, gauges, and precision measurement equipment
    • Experience creating receiving and manufacturing inspections in 1Factory software
