Job Summary (List Format) Lead Quality Engineer, Trading Platform Engineering

- Define and drive the overall quality engineering strategy for business-critical trading applications.
- Own and evolve test and automation strategies aligned with architecture and business goals.
- Lead end-to-end test design, execution, and automation across multiple projects/workstreams.
- Develop, implement, and promote scalable automation frameworks and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QE engineers, including guidance on design and execution.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to create effective test strategies from complex requirements.
- Establish and enforce quality gates and release standards throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks and quality issues; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Lead diagnosis and resolution of performance, scalability, and stability issues in complex systems.
- Champion QE best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement, including AI-driven testing solutions.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) efforts for new tools, frameworks, and automation approaches.
- Drive and optimize CI/CD integration to enable continuous testing and faster, reliable releases.
- Collaborate effectively across onshore and offshore teams to ensure delivery consistency and alignment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of QE/testing experience.
- Proven experience leading QE efforts or managing QE teams.
- Expertise in multiple testing types (functional, performance, end-to-end).
- Strong automation experience with BDD frameworks.
- Proficiency in software engineering practices, design, and coding standards.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ClaudeCode).

Preferred/Additional Experience:
- Knowledge of Order Management systems and trading workflows.
- Experience managing or coordinating onshore/offshore teams.
- Proficiency in Java or similar programming language.
