Lead Project Manager

One of the top general contractors in Massachusetts is searching for a Lead Project Manager. The company has been in business for 20+ years and is based in Falmouth, MA.

They generate over $150m/year in annual revenue, specializing in residential, commercial, healthcare, academic, and government projects. Over 80% of the business comes from repeat clients, and only 20% from bid-work. 

This Lead Project Manager will manage medium to large-scale construction projects ($20M+) across Southern MA, Cape Cod, and Martha’s Vineyard. Typical project types include schools, healthcare, commercial, hotels, and wood-frame construction projects.

Compensation depends on experience but is 130 – 170K.

Job Title: Lead Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of ($20M+) construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all objectives are met.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 4+ years of experience being the LEAD Project Manager on projects
• Experience with high-budget projects, with a minimum value of $15 million.
• Experience with full financial control over projects, including procurement, budget, cash flow projections, and project closeout.
