Slaloms Experience Design (XD) team is a group of diverse individuals who happen to be world-class multidisciplinary designers. Were artists and technologists, sure. But were also athletes and farmers, carpenters and musicians, educators and data nerds, and so much more.
Our growing team works closely with US and Canadian clients on complex, industry-heavy products across sectors including financial services, energy, and beyond. Together, we operate with a shared passion for building great products with great clients. Our recent expansion into Latin America has further enriched our team with diverse perspectives and innovative ideas.
What Youll Do
As a Lead Product Designer on the Customer Experience team, you'll independently own design direction across small-to-medium client engagements from discovery through delivery for complex products in industries like financial services, energy, and enterprise technology. You'll navigate existing product ecosystems, work within (and improve) design systems at varying levels of maturity, and bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces where the brief, the system, or the client's vision isn't yet defined.
You'll partner directly with US and Canadian client stakeholders as a senior design voice, communicating design decisions in business terms and facilitating the workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery activities that shape product direction. Across the LATAM team, you'll uphold a consistent design point of view collaborating with other designers to ensure coherence and quality across concurrent engagements.
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering and product partners throughout delivery, using modern prototyping and agentic design tools to communicate intent quickly and keep product, design, and engineering aligned around a single source of truth. You'll also identify organic growth opportunities within client engagements and contribute to Slalom's broader design practice through case studies, reusable patterns, and points of view.
