Lead Press Operator

Step into a key role at SBI Tees where you’ll lead day-to-day press operations, keep production moving, and help the team hit schedule commitments without sacrificing quality. This isn’t a “just run your machine” position—you’ll oversee production flow and job sequencing, partner closely with a three-person press team , and jump in to operate the full press when needed.

Lead Press Operator Schedule: possible 9a-5p, 8a-4p, 7a-3p
Pay: $18-$23 based on experience Overview
Step into a key role at SBI Tees where you’ll lead day-to-day press operations, keep production moving, and help the team hit schedule commitments without sacrificing quality. This isn’t a “just run your machine” position—you’ll oversee production flow and job sequencing, partner closely with a three-person press team, and jump in to operate the full press when needed. During slower periods, you’ll stay engaged by supporting packing, cleaning, and general production tasks while continuing to uphold shop standards and a positive, team-first environment.
Required Skills

• Prior press operation experience (required)
• Ability to set up and operate printing equipment
• Strong understanding of production flow and job sequencing
• Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain quality standards
• Hands-on leadership style—ready to step in and help wherever needed
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong work ethic, ownership mindset, and commitment to long-term success
• Team-oriented attitude and reliability in a close-knit environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience helping guide or lead a small production/press crew
• Demonstrated interest in growth—ready to develop into a larger leadership role
• Comfort contributing across multiple areas of production beyond press operations

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience: Previous press operation experience is preferred (required for consideration); candidates with strong foundational experience and clear growth potential are encouraged to apply
