Teacher / Master Teacher
Pay: $15.50–$19.50 per hour
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and qualified Teacher / Master Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Tulsa. The Teacher will provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while supporting the growth and development of children.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Meet Level 5 or higher on the Oklahoma Registry Professional Development Ladder and/or meet NAEYC Lead Teaching Staff qualifications.
- Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
- Knowledge of DHS childcare licensing requirements and NAEYC guidelines.
- Ability to lift 15–30 pounds.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, coworkers, and administration.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children and maintain a safe, positive classroom environment.
- Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
- Develop and implement daily classroom schedules and lesson plans.
- Submit lesson plans by Thursday for review prior to implementation.
- Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities.
- Manage classroom routines and provide positive guidance to children.
- Complete daily reports and communicate professionally with parents and families.
- Conduct and document child evaluations and developmental observations.
- Maintain child portfolios and anecdotal notes using the Creative Curriculum.
- Maintain the classroom NAEYC portfolio with current documentation and artifacts.
- Participate in family-style meal service.
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and adequately supplied.
- Replenish classroom supplies as needed.
- Provide continuity of care and consistent support for children.
- Attend staff meetings, training, special activities, and center events.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate respect for children and their families.
- Work cooperatively with teachers, administration, and other staff.
Required Training
- Complete 30 hours of job-related training annually.
- OECP Classroom teachers must complete training required by the OECP contract, including PITC, when applicable.
- Maintain Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification and renew as required.
- Maintain a current Tulsa County Food Handler's License.
- Complete ELCCT training within 90 days of employment.
- Complete annual infection control and medication training.
Master Teacher Requirements
Master Teachers must also complete:
- Pyramid Training within 90 days of employment
- Early Learning Guidelines Training within 90 days of employment
