Lead Preschool Teacher - 3-Year-Old Classroom
Location: The Learning Experience - Tuckahoe, NY
 Pay: $20-$23 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
 Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday


The Learning Experience - Tuckahoe is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to lead our 3-year-old classroom.


This is an exciting age as children become increasingly independent, conversational, curious, and eager to explore the world around them. We're looking for a teacher who can create a nurturing and engaging preschool classroom where children build early academic skills, friendships, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.


Key Responsibilities

•  Lead daily routines and learning experiences in our 3-year-old Preschool classroom 
•  Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum 
•  Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development 
•  Encourage language development, independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships 
•  Provide consistent classroom routines and positive behavior guidance 
•  Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation 
•  Prepare classroom activities and learning materials 
•  Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families 
•  Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers 
•  Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and engaging classroom 
•  Follow applicable New York childcare health, safety, and licensing requirements 

Qualifications


Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience pathways:

•  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education 
•  Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education 
•  CDA credential 
•  High school diploma or GED plus at least 5 years of relevant early childhood experience 

Previous professional preschool, daycare, or early childhood classroom experience strongly preferred. Experience leading a classroom of 3-year-old children is a plus.
