    Lead Planner/ Scheduler


    Location: Houston, TX
    Duration: 1 year could go longer

    The work location will primarily be Houston, with travel to site locations approximately once per month, on average, to interface with local site management teams. Must have oil and gas experience supporting complex capital projects and coordinating with site stakeholders. This role supports the Major Projects business unit and will work on projects at various refinery and midstream sites. 

    Planner will ensure the schedule complies with project scheduling standards and key procedure. This individual will be coordinating weekly call-in meetings with internal and external Project Schedulers to ensure standardization of output. Review project schedules for the Project Leaders to determine if the sequence of activities will deliver the product and project scope within the parameters of the project objectives through leading the integration and roll-up of contractors/owner schedules, coordination of schedule risk analysis, leading interface of independent project reviews, defining and optimizing critical paths, and establishing schedule milestones. The Planning Lead will work with the contractors are aware of the Enterprise Schedule architecture, software requirements, reporting requirements and any modifications that are made.


    Basic/Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years planning/scheduling experience

    Minimum 5 years' experience in scheduling for small to large size downstream projects

    Minimum 8 years field scheduling experience on domestic projects
