Position Overview

Pin Placements is seeking experienced candidates for current and upcoming Lead Parts & Inventory opportunities within the golf, turf, and equipment industry in the Plant City / Central Florida market.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in an equipment dealership, parts department, golf or turf operation, automotive dealership, agricultural equipment business, or similar environment who understands the importance of inventory accuracy, organization, and responsive parts support.

The right candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day parts and inventory operations while working closely with service technicians, customers, vendors, and operations personnel.

Responsibilities May Include

• Manage day-to-day parts and inventory activities

• Receive, inspect, label, stock, and organize incoming parts

• Maintain accurate inventory quantities and locations

• Process parts orders and fulfill requests from technicians and customers

• Research and identify parts using OEM catalogs, diagrams, and online systems

• Coordinate ordering and replenishment of commonly used parts

• Monitor backorders and communicate order status

• Maintain an organized and efficient parts room and warehouse

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and returns

• Support service technicians with parts identification and availability

• Help establish stocking levels and improve inventory processes

• Maintain accurate records within inventory or dealer-management systems

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or equipment operations

• Equipment dealership or service environment experience strongly preferred

• Familiarity with commercial turf, agricultural, compact construction, automotive, or similar equipment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working with inventory-management and computer systems

• Ability to research parts using OEM catalogs and diagrams

• Experience with purchasing, receiving, cycle counting, and inventory control is beneficial

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

• Valid driver's license

We're looking for someone who takes pride in running an organized operation and understands that a strong parts department is critical to keeping equipment and technicians productive.

Candidates do not need to come directly from the golf industry. Experience in equipment dealerships, automotive parts, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, landscape equipment, industrial distribution, or similar operations can translate well to this position.

Candidates with the experience and leadership ability to eventually take greater ownership of a parts operation are especially encouraged to apply.
