Overview

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Palantir Foundry Engineer to support and evolve a business-critical supply chain platform built on Palantir Foundry. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for application support, production stability, knowledge transfer, and future platform expansion.
  • The ideal candidate will bring 7-10 years of Data Engineering experience, including hands-on expertise within Palantir Foundry. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, platform support, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery experience.
  • This position will play a critical role in ensuring continuity of support, reducing operational risk, and enabling long-term scalability of Foundry-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical resource supporting Palantir Foundry applications and data products
  • Act as the primary escalation point for production issues, platform support, and application troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across data pipelines, ontology models, and user-facing applications
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement sustainable fixes to improve platform reliability
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to prioritize enhancements and support activities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support resources
  • Drive documentation, knowledge transfer, and best practices to reduce key-person dependencies
  • Support platform expansion initiatives and future use case development
  • Evaluate technical debt and identify opportunities to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams supporting supply chain, analytics, and operational initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of Data Engineering experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Palantir Foundry Architecture

  • Ontology Modeling

  • Workshop Applications

  • Data Pipeline Development

  • SQL

  • PySpark / Spark

  • Data Integration & ETL Frameworks

  • Experience supporting and maintaining production enterprise applications

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data and platform issues independently

  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Palantir Foundry Certification (Associate Data Engineer, Foundry Aware, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or operational workflows
  • Experience developing and supporting ontology-driven applications
  • Familiarity with Palantir AIP and AI-driven workflows
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platform, or other modern cloud data ecosystems
  • Prior consulting experience supporting large enterprise organizations
