    • Hands‑on work with hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.

    What you need to bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 4+ years’ commercial door service experience; AAADM certification is a plus.
    • Knowledge of multiple door types, brands, and hardware.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude; adept with hand and power tools.
    • Physically able to move 50+ lbs., climb ladders up to 20’, work on knees for extended periods, and operate power tools safely.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; persuasive when needed.
    • Top‑tier troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
    • Ability to relay information in fast‑paced conditions.
    • Detail focus and commitment to quality; reliable and self‑motivated.
    • Comfort with fractions and tape‑measure accuracy for precision installs.
    • Sound knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to protocols.
    • Computer proficiency.

    Work conditions

    • Full‑time shifts between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with some overtime and on‑call.
    • Continuous training and development throughout your Vortex career.

    • Ability to drive a company vehicle and possession of a valid driver license.

    Legal/Compliance
