Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Lead Oracle ERP Application Analyst (Financials) at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as a leader in identifying and implementing opportunities for system improvements relating to stability, performance, and maintainability. This role also gathers and documents detailed business requirements and determines complex solution designs as well as mentors less-experienced Application Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Implements and supports Oracle eBusiness Suite applications as well as other business applications
- Demonstrates experience assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training
- Identifies and implements opportunities for system improvement around stability, performance, security, and maintainability
- Identifies interdependencies in programs and is the go-to person for ensuring high quality products
- Develops, maintains, and executes test scripts to verify controls, security, and usability
- Assists with data migration and related data quality activities
- Develops reliable solutions to complex problems through ingenuity and creativity
- Determines complex functional designs across many functional/module areas
- Evaluates new technologies, features and functions as directed by IT management
- Demonstrates experience with project work and change management in demanding and dynamic environments, with tight deadlines
- Able to analyze details and synthesize the "big picture" despite sometimes incomplete or ambiguous data
- Effectively prioritizes workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Collaborates directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients
- Supports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updates

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another related field AND a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
- Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
- Experience with PL/SQL (Programming Language/Structured Query Language)
- Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
- Experience with implementing "Order to Cash", “Procure to Pay” or “Plan to Manufacture” solutions to/from ERP systems.
- Proficiency in at least three of the following Oracle EBS modules: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and/or Cost Management.
- Experience with tax determination solutions such as Vertex, EBTax, Avalara or similar applications.
- Experience working with regulatory country localizations within an ERP system.
- Experience with payment integration processes.
- Experience with Oracle EBS Financial and Order Management modules including pricing, taxing, invoicing, receipts, and cash reconciliation.
- Experience with e-Invoicing and e-Reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of how processes, data, and technology can enable problems and opportunities
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time to support business operations, customer engagements, project implementations, and collaboration with global teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating within the Agile project management philosophy, specifically scrum methodology
- Experience working with internationally distributed teams and customers to deliver global solutions
- Experience with compliance and privacy topics
