Lead Nutritional Aide

In the absence of the Nutritional Services Manager, you will assume responsibility of assigned dining rooms and food service areas, including leadership over the Nutritional Services employees, food safety and sanitation, and resident dining experience. Trinity Terrace, Fort Worth’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Lead Nutritional Aide to join us in providing our residents with a great hospitality experience when dining with us in our health center. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead and support a team. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required.

 

What You'll Be Doing: Delegate specific duties to other employees to ensure that all items needed for meals are prepared at the time needed. In the absence of the Nutritional Services Manager, you will assume responsibility of assigned dining rooms and food service areas, including leadership over the Nutritional Services employees, food safety and sanitation, and resident dining experience.

• Attend all team meetings and events.
• Conduct daily pre-service huddles for all assigned meal periods, to include training and motivational/positive talking points.
• Ensure all newly hired and transitioned Nutritional Services team members are trained in accordance with a consistent and effective training process/program.
• Lead by example with regard to food safety and sanitation, maintaining an environment and work area that demonstrates safety and sanitation are paramount.
• Use MealTracker to prepare menus, tray tickets, tally sheets, production sheets, and other reports needed for meal service.
