Description

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Lead .net full stack engineer for their Brooklyn, NY/ Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop MVP User Stories (Re-usable components/ API’s / UI / Mock stubs etc.)
  • Support backlog creation, prioritization, and Story mapping
  • Support in technical design and solutioning
  • Ability to work across tiers – UI development, APIs, databases (basic developer level tasks)
  • Ability to utilize DevOps CI/CD pipeline, create/configure build and deploy jobs
  • Experience working in XP and pair programming model and understands and performs TDD
  • Responsible for assigned task delivery and quality and knowledge transfer through daily pairing with Duke team members
  • Motivated and energetic engineers who are passionate about software modernization
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with team members and leadership
  • Participate in paired programming and XP development
  • Strong ability to work independently when required
  • Turn complex ideas into manageable pieces of work
  • Hands-on, Individual contribution and Mentor other developers in team
  • Support team members on troubleshooting
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 14+ years of experience in application development, systems integration, or enterprise technology environments
  • Full stack engineering experience, including modern React front-end development and .Net/C# back-end services
  • Azure/AWS infrastructure and cloud services experience (designing, deploying, and operating workloads in the cloud)
  • Design & build full stack solutions that integrate with services and APIs, running on cloud infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform: Experience defining and managing Azure/AWS infrastructure using Terraform
  • Git Hub Copilot and AI tools proficiency
  • Independently break down work, manage backlog items, and provide clear progress updates; participate in code reviews and technical design
  • Deliver production grade code with strong testing practices; build in reliability, security, and observability from the start.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams across multiple systems or platforms
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and business domains
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language
  • Strong understanding of how business processes drive technical requirements and decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Self-motivated and effective in remote or distributed team environments
  • Demonstrated success collaborating within an agile environment and communicating clearly with cross functional partners.
  • Strong fundamentals in software engineering (clean code, testing, performance, security minded development
  • Depth in observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) and building resilient, secure, and scalable cloud services
  • Support and Enhancements: Design, build and help troubleshooting.
  • Documentation & knowledge sharing: produce clear technical documentation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to work independently, proactively pick up work, and carry tasks through to completion with high code quality
