Job Summary (Lead Full-Stack Application Developer - .NET & Azure)
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and ownership of Azure software development within distributed scrum teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple geographic locations.
- Interpret and translate software requirements into agile user stories, tasks, and documentation.
- Lead and mentor team members in adopting modern CI/CD and shift-left practices.
- Build, configure, and deploy enterprise APIs, websites, and software on Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure quality and security through test automation, code scanning (Sonatype, Fortify), and compliance with CI/CD standards.
- Author BDD acceptance criteria in Gherkin syntax and maintain requirements traceability.
- Practice fail-first (TDD) methodologies, maintaining rapid unit test cycles and component acceptance testing.
- Manage feature toggles to ensure environmental parity and prevent disruptions in shared environments.
- Troubleshoot, configure, and optimize application performance, ensuring system resiliency and disaster recovery readiness.
- Utilize service virtualization and API contract testing for integration without live external dependencies.
- Execute dark launches and zero-day production validations with feature flagging and rollback readiness.
- Instantly troubleshoot and resolve DEV environment bugs, focusing documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, architecture diagrams, API contracts, and contribute to team knowledge base.
- Engage effectively with clients and leadership, adapting communication for both technical and business audiences.
- Preferred: Experience with Azure Government Cloud, FedRAMP, FISMA, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Core technologies: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Angular, Git, Terraform, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Fortify, Sonatype.
