- Provide direct clinical psychotherapy services to consumers in the Partial Department programming. Clinical psychotherapy services include predominately group modalities, with individual and family psychotherapy as time permits. Psychotherapy services are to utilize commonly accepted theories and techniques of behavioral, emotional and cognitive intervention and S.E.L.F model (Safety, Emotions, Loss and Future). Psychological diagnostic interviewing and completing intake evaluations as assigned, under the supervision of the licensed psychologist. Assist the psychiatrist in monitoring medication.
- Complete appropriate documentation relevant to indirect case management services. Maintain case notes, case files, treatment plans, treatment plan updates, case reviews, case revisions, securing and ensuring that authorizations are up to date and all relevant paperwork requirements are complete, ethical, and clinical care is uninterrupted for consumers while exercising social responsibility. Assist in chart reviews/audits on a monthly basis.
- Conduct appropriate consultation with the Center’s treatment team regarding clinical care, policies/procedures and progress notes and discharge summaries utilizing social learning. Attend weekly supervision with immediate supervisor and openly communicate all issues that impact quality of clinical care. Attend all mandatory weekly meetings including meeting with the Chief Clinical Officer for clinical supervision. Conduct external consultation with other community providers, hospitals, transportation services, and other agencies as indicated regarding clinical care. Facilitate transition to lower and or higher levels of care as indicated exercising emotional intelligence.
- Maintain appropriate professional continuing education requirements. Stay informed of current regulations, policies and procedures related to clinical and administrative practices. Comply with quality assurance guidelines. Maintain awareness of all federal, state and managed care laws, policies, regulations and procedures regarding clinical care, best practices guidelines, and appropriate fiscal requirements related to clinical services.
