Overview
System One is currently seeking a strong Lead Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to complete the start-up and commissioning of a gas-fired simple cycle units coupled with reciprocating engines.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead mechanical engineer for a project involving 5 GE 7FA.05 simple cycle units
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution and adherence to safety standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to on-site personnel throughout the project duration
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical systems, preferably in power generation or similar industrial settings
- Strong background in working with GE 7FA.05 turbines or similar equipment
- Effective leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams
- Ability to start around the first of the year for a project duration of 24 months
