Description

Our engineering services client is seeking a Lead Mechanical Process Engineer to design and deliver utility systems for industrial facilities. This role will lead process engineering efforts, support multidisciplinary project teams, and serve as a technical resource throughout project execution. This position is based in Green Bay, WI. Remote consideration may be available for qualified U.S.-based candidates who can travel as needed to support client projects, field work, and team collaboration.
 
Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Green Bay, WI (Remote Considered)
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer industrial utility systems including steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems
  • Develop equipment specifications, process documentation, and technical reports
  • Create mass and energy balances, P&IDs, equipment lists, and connection documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams
  • Support project estimating, proposal development, construction, startup, and commissioning activities
  • Conduct site surveys and evaluate existing conditions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
  • Experience developing P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specifications
  • 7+ years of experience with industrial utility systems, including:
    • Steam Systems
    • Refrigeration/Ammonia Systems
    • Compressed Air Systems
    • HVAC Systems
    • Compressed Gas Systems
    • Industrial Water Systems


Preferred:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Industrial HVAC experience
  • Dust Collection/Dust Control system experience
