Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of hyperscale data center and mission critical projects across the US. This is a technical leadership role for an experienced engineer who enjoys driving complex designs, engaging with clients, and delivering high-performance infrastructure solutions.
The Opportunity
- Lead mechanical design for hyperscale data center projects.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and project teams.
- Oversee HVAC, cooling, piping, and fire protection systems from concept through construction.
- Support commissioning, construction activities, and technical issue resolution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What You'll Bring
Essential- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Active PE Licence with the ability to sign and seal designs.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship available).
- Strong data centre or mission critical design experience.
- Background within an engineering design consultancy.
- Experience leading projects from a technical perspective.
Technical Expertise- HVAC and chilled water systems
- CRAH/CRAC units
- Air and water-cooled chillers
- Cooling towers and evaporative cooling
- Liquid cooling technologies
- CFD analysis
- Hot aisle/cold aisle containment
- ASHRAE, Uptime Institute and TIA-942 standards

Please note: This role is targeted at candidates with
data center or mission critical building systems design experience. Applicants from product design, power generation, substation or thermal engineering backgrounds without relevant data centre experience are unlikely to be a fit.
