    Description

    Our Client, a Pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Lead Manufacturing Technician for their Vista, CA location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead tech is responsible for assisting in training and training documentation.
    • Coordinate daily operations and distribute tasks to subordinates.
    • Follow-up on tasks to ensure completeness/correctness. Ensure production is carried out within specified timelines.
    • Follow and enforce the procedures outlining production, facilities and equipment.
    • Enforce cGMP compliance by inspecting the facility and equipment on a routine basis.
    • Enforce real-time documentation by performing audits of documentation during the production run.
    • Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with SOP and CGMP
    • Conduct on the job training of procedures, equipment and principles of the process.
    • Strict adherence and enforcement of Department Safety Rules.
    • Address complaints and resolve employee related problems with the collaboration of department management and Human Resources.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to lead, motivate, guide, train, coach and develop subordinates while maintaining a team atmosphere.
    • Two years of leadership experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations, and industry guidelines.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and use good judgment.
    • Proactive, results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to keep neat, accurate and complete records and logs.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle an ever-changing, fast-paced, critical work environment.
    • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to analyze details and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis.
    • Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Occupational Demands:
    • Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.
    • Exp:
    • 3-4 years experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility - pharmaceutical, biologics, biotech, or medical device industry.
    • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
