Now Hiring Lead Manufacturing Technician

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 4:00 PM Start | Four 10-Hour Shifts

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing leadership experience
  • Metal-powder production experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, training, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate production equipment
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to remain active throughout a 10-hour shift
  • Steel-toed shoes and warehouse attire required
  • Ability to work overtime when approved
  • Resume and interview required

Job Duties

  • Oversee all shift production operations
  • Monitor production output and team performance
  • Assign work and communicate shift priorities
  • Train and coach production employees
  • Operate equipment when needed
  • Ensure equipment is maintained properly
  • Troubleshoot production and workflow issues
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards
  • Report performance, maintenance, and safety concerns to management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Do

As a Lead Manufacturing Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Lead Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting the long-term performance of equipment through inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role requires technical knowledge, mechanical skill, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.
