Pay: $25-30/hour starting pay, with potential increase after a 30- or 60-day performance review based on reliability and performance.

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician for a smaller multifamily apartment community. This property consists of fewer than 100 units and is supported by an experienced on-site management team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows through on responsibilities, and is interested in building a long-term career with a stable community.

This position is ideal for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician who is ready to step into a more independent role and take ownership of day-to-day maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and general repair work.
• Perform apartment make-readies and turnover repairs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain community grounds and curb appeal.
• Handle trash pickup, porter duties, and common area upkeep.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance response as needed.
• Identify and address property maintenance concerns proactively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with make-readies, work orders, and general maintenance repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
• Positive attitude and commitment to resident service.
